Thales to digitalise tactical combat training for the Polish Army

On 11 June 2021, Thales signed an agreement to provide the Polish Army with five Combat Staff Trainer tactical training systems to be installed at several locations in Poland. This is the first time the Polish armed forces have acquired a digital solution to meet their tactical training requirements. The computer-based simulation system from Thales is used to conduct collective training exercises in a virtual and cybersecured environment representative of the Polish Army's theatres of operations.

Caverton achieves EASA certification for the Thales Reality H® AW139 simulator and its training center

Paris – La Défense, November 3, 2021 – Caverton has just been qualified by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) as an official full flight simulator operator, using the Thales Level D, Reality H full-flight simulator product for the AW139 helicopter. It is the first Reality H system operational in Africa, and operated by Caverton.

Rheinmetall and Thales awarded subcontract from Lockheed Martin to deliver training services to the joint Franco-German C-130J squadron

Thales and Rheinmetall have been tasked with certifying the future training centre organization for the Franco-German C-130J transport aircraft fleet. The two companies are participating in the project as subcontractors (50/50) to Lockheed Martin, the prime contractor of the France/Germany Multinational Training Centre and manufacturer of the C-130J Super Hercules transport aircraft.

Héli-Union calls on Thales to train helicopter pilots for Mongolia's civil security forces

The French government is helping to strengthen Mongolia's civil defence capabilities through a concessional loan granted by the Treasury Department. The country's first helicopter search and rescue centre will be deployed by Héli-Union close to the Ulaanbaatar international airport.
